With more than 4 million books and other holdings and 12 libraries on three campuses, the University Libraries are the academic heart of Washington University. Facilities include the renovated main library and new libraries serving the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.

Featured Donor

Whitney Harris was a prosecutor in the Nuremberg trials following World War II. He later collected books about WWII and the Third Reich and donated them to the Libraries, providing students and faculty with a remarkable collection of historical resources.
