Giving Programs

The Washington University Libraries have programs that offer donors a meaningful way to pay tribute to loved ones, friends, colleagues, and others.

Honor with Books provides for the purchase of new books.

Legacy of Books provides for the repair or preservation of materials in our collections.

The Most Wanted List identifies materials requested by faculty and students.

Gifts-in-Kind are donations of books that can enrich the Libraries' holdings.

Another way donors can help the Libraries is by giving without specifying how a gift must be used. Gifts of any size can be of invaluable help. These gifts can be given annually and enable the Libraries to spend where the need is greatest.

Gift Recognition

Gift recognition is available for each program. Donors who give $100 or more annually become Century Club members. Donors who give $1,000 or more annually become Eliot Society members.

Make your gift now, or for more information on giving, contact Mary Druyvesteyn, the Director of Development for University Libraries.
